VAG 1.8T Short Injector Seals X8

I'm glad I chose Cloud 9 to purchase the injector seals for my TT.
They came in 2 day's which is pretty good going and when I opened the sealed plastic bag and felt them ...the texture of the rubber was just right and on close inspection they are flawless.
So a very good clean with Isopropyl alcohol spray and an old rag then lightly oiled the new seals so they'd be easier to fit on with no tearing of the rubber....then popped them back into the rail... then the manifold.....and 15 mins later I started her up , then head under the bonnet and sniffed ah..just fresh air
I inspected the old seals and one of the top seals was sorted of cut ...about 6 or 7 mm long and the chard was still on.
So maybe whoever fitted the last seals fitted them with no lubricant???
So it's Thanks to Cloud 9 and there quality seals ...I can't sniff petrol anywhere and my methodical way of working did help.
